Copy negative of a set of four group portrait photographs (labelled 219 to 225) of the `Digger Pierrots', an entertainment group formed on the Western Front in 1917 to entertain New Zealand soldiers during World War I, and their orchestra. Photograph taken between 1917 and 1918, by Henry Armytage Sanders. Other - Note on back of file print reads: `The Kiwis who for months entertained N Z soldiers fresh from the trenches in France.
