Icy
A DigitalNZ Story by gabbyo
I have been fascinated by the idea of Antarctica for quite some time now. The way that I am trying to understand the large white space that occupies the most Southern reaches of the world is through the making of large paper spatial installations using tissue paper, light and sometimes envelopes. I often have dual starting points with a new project - through manipulating materials, but also through reading and looking at the way Antarctica has been framed, described and documented.
