What is there not to love about autumn.
March, April and May. From the hot fragrant summer hangover days in early March, to chocolate filled and family excitement during Easter. A favourite Nana's birthday in April, and the first cool crisp mornings in May.
Blues are bluer, reds are redder, the lowering sun adds a golden light.
The not unpleasant smell of soil and leaves and decomposition.
The flies have gone, the creams for itchy bites packed away in the medicine cabinet.
Finally restful nights sleep and burrowing under the duvet.
